The previous GIS Day at OSU was held WEDNESDAY, November 14, 2007,

OSU's 2007 GIS Day activities were sponsored by the Department of Geosciences, the
Department of Forest Science
(in conjunction with the USDA Forest Service and the USGS), and the OSU
Valley
Library. This year's special program included the participation of
~420 students teachers, and parents from Linus Pauling, Cheldelin, and Lincoln
middle schools, as well as a classes from Pilgrim Lutheran School in Beaverton.
In addition, students from Corvallis High School helped to lead the middle-schoolers on their GPS hikes.
