Stephen E. Dole

Mr. Stephen Dole is a natural resource scientist with more than 25 years of experience in industry-related environmental management, permitting, regulatory compliance, and litigation support. He was a corporate environmental manager for ARCO for 16 years dealing with natural resource development, site remediation, and environmental litigation. Prior to ARCO, he was an environmental manager for two different mining companies undergoing property expansion and exploration in western states. Currently he is providing expert witness services to Fortune 500 companies and business management services to national environmental consulting firms. He is also active in Clean Water Act issues relative to TMDLs (total Maximum Daily Loads) through formal comment and industry consulting. Mr. Dole holds a B.S. in geography from Oregon State University (1972) and an M.A. in geography from the University of Colorado (1975). He lives with his wife and three children in Denver, Colorado.
